Help & Support
I was involved in an accident, but it wasn’t detected by Crash Assist. Why not?
Crash Assist detects moderate to severe accidents: it may not detect minor incidents or collisions at low speeds or within the first kilometre of a road trip.
Four reasons why an accident might go undetected:
- device in 'Do Not Disturb' mode
- device in 'energy-saving' mode or with a low battery
- weak GPS signal
- poor smartphone reception
Four reasons why Crash Assist is not working:
- Crash Assist disabled
- offline
- no data plan
- access to notifications and location data is not authorized
