What does a Claims Adjuster do?
A Claims Adjuster is a representative of the insurance company. An Adjuster:
- coordinates an appraisal
- gathers the facts
- reports the details of a claim to the insurer
- recommends whether a claim is covered under the policy
- negotiates with the policyholder on behalf of the insurance company.
